As you will discover, Tom has quite a variety of styles and artistic disciplines. His career spans some forty years with a four year interruption called active duty in the U.S. Navy. A link to the ship etc will be added later.

He started his career as a painter and illustrator. During his BFA days, he finished with a dual discipline degree of illustration and graphic design. He worked as a freelance/contract illustrator and graphic designer allowing him to work in many styles and markets, gaining valuable experience. When time permitted, he worked on his fine art. He refined the graphic design with an MFA in Multimedia Design. As luck would have it, he can now "scratch all his artistic itches".

His areas of expertise include: Fine art painting in most media and topics, medical, botanical, scientific and general illustration. Graphic Design includes multimedia design (motion graphics and web), print, technical publications (manuals) and package design.
